Water Linked had the pleasure of welcoming a U.S. delegation, including representatives from the U.S. Embassy, U.S. Navy Task Force 66, and several US companies to Trondheim.

Companies in the delegation included: Dolgo, Blue Ocean Gear, Tocaro Blue, Quartermaster, Shift Coastal, Ocean Power Technologies, Ocean Motion, Biospherical Instruments.

The visit was a great opportunity to showcase our subsea positioning and sensing technologies while strengthening connections between Trondheim's thriving ocean-tech ecosystem and key American maritime and defense stakeholders.

The delegation started their visit at the Water Linked office, where our CEO, Torstein Skogseth, and COO, Pål Rune Johansen, presented the company, our technology, and our vision for the future of underwater operations. We had a good discussion around the capabilities of our DVL portfolio and the Sonar 3D-15, with a deep dive into how these technologies can enhance navigation, inspection, and operational awareness below the surface.

The following day, along with fellow Trondheim-based innovators including Blueye, Maritime Robotics, Eelume, Kongsberg and others, we participated in a hands-on demo day showcasing some of the region's most exciting underwater technologies.

A big thank you to Ocean Autonomy Cluster, Frode Halvorsen and the team  in organizing the visit and demonstrations. We truly enjoyed hosting the U.S. delegation and  look forward to continuing the dialogue.
